A Night with Purpose
The Catoctin Affair was referred to as “the party with a purpose,” and that description could not be more fitting. Held at the Frederick Fairgrounds, the evening brought together hundreds of community members for a magical night of connection, education, and fundraising. The event raised money to support FCMHA’s 15 vital programs, which serve children, families, and individuals navigating mental health challenges right here in our community.
Our team was proud to be represented at the event by Nicholas Toms and Crystal Girona, who experienced firsthand the power of a community rallying around a cause that truly matters. The evening was a powerful reminder that healing starts with one step, and that sponsors and supporters play an instrumental role in making that step possible. Events like the Catoctin Affair preserve lives, unite families, and foster a stronger, more cohesive Frederick County.
She’s a Brick…Patio: Our Auction Donation
Outdoor Solutions was honored to collaborate with Frederick Brick Works Inc. and Hawkins Landscaping Inc. to donate a standout package to the live auction: a custom brick patio designed and built for outdoor living at its finest.
The package offered the lucky winner a chance to transform their backyard into the ultimate staycation destination. Imagine warm evenings under the stars, morning coffee in your own private oasis, and a space beautiful enough to bring the neighbors over more often. With a custom patio hardscape designed and installed by Outdoor Solutions, quality materials sourced from Frederick Brick Works, and a stunning cherry tree from Hawkins Landscaping to add seasonal color, charm, and shade, this package represented the best of what our region’s outdoor living professionals can deliver together.
It was more than an auction item. It was a showcase of what local businesses can accomplish when they combine their talents for a greater good.
